New SAB-profiel product selector

SAB-profiel’s product selector has been revised. It now contains many new photographs of projects that may give clients, architects and designers ideas of our product range of application. It also refers to the changes in the range of products and coatings. These adjustments makes the product selector completely up-to-date. The new digital version of the product selector can be downloaded directly as a pdf file (5.2 MB). Warranty on Colorcoat® products

Confidex^® offers the longest and most extensive warranty for pre-varnished steel products. The Confidex warranty covers Colorcoat HPS200^® Ultra and Colorcoat Prisma^® for periods of 40 and 25 years respectively. As of June 1^st 2009, there will be a number of changes to warranties for a few other Colorcoat^® products. From that date onwards, standard cover on Corus Colocoat products will include a performance warranty for 10 years on Colorcoat^® PVDF and for 5 years on Colorcoat^® Polyester (PE 25) when applied to façades more than ten kilometres from the coast. Service in production and loading

Because we strive for continuous improvement of our service with respect to just in time production, loading of your orders and answering of your questions regarding the status of your orders, we will make some changes in the SAB-profiel organisation, starting from Monday , 8th of June 2009. To optimise the changes we do need your cooperation. On our website you can find all relevant information under 'Products & Services', menu items 'Calling off orders' and 'Loading & unloading' (through this links you have direct access). Read the information carefully and inform also your own carrier. Together we can achieve that the SAB products will be produced and loaded in a short time.

SAB project - Maxit Eindhoven

We would like to draw your attention to another high-tech project. This time in Eindhoven: Beamix/Maxit’s unusually shaped silo/production tower. With its striking colour and shapely form, the production tower (52 metres in height) has an undeniably feminine side to it and has been aptly named after the Dutch Prinses Maxima. The tower will in part be replacing existing infrastructure, but also aims to meet environment requirements regarding energy, dust and noise reduction levels more fully.

The project contains a wide range of SAB products, of which 3.000 m² corrugated profile SAB 27/1000 in Colorcoat^® PVDF colour 1015, partly negatively and partly positively arched and partly perforated, 417 m² trapezium profile SAB 35/1035 in Colorcoat^® Polyester colour 9002 and 250 m² RockPro WF 80.1150 in Colorcoat^® Polyester colour 9002. SAB Z-140 purlins (3.000 m - 1.5 mm) were also supplied for this project.

Durability with SAB

Durability is enhanced with long-lasting products and optimum recycling options. Both of these aspects apply to SAB’s products. For Colorcoat Prisma^® and Colorcoat HPS200^® Ultra it is possible to apply for a Confidex^® Warranty which offers a guaranteed life span of 25 and 40 years respectively. During the entire period of the warranty, no annual inspections or contractual maintenance are required. This has the added benefit of avoiding inspections and their accompanying costs. SAB products are fixed on site using screws, which means that they can be dismantled completely. During their lifetime, structures can quite easily be adapted, using relatively simple means, for other functions, which increases the life span of structures as a whole. Because sandwich panels and profiled cladding are not heavy weighted, they can be fixed on light structures and foundations. Because steel products can be recycled, the amount of building material waste after demolition is insignificant. Steel can be used again as a building material instead of being discarded. Steel is 100% recyclable and can be used again and again without a deterioration in its properties or performance. High quality steel can be produced using low value steel again and again
