SAB Reference Projects

As a market leader in metal roof - and cladding wall systems we receive many requests of architects and customers for reference projects. Till recently our internet website did not foresee in a good overview of reference projects. We are pleased to inform you that from today onwards an extensive number of reference projects are shown on our website. In the red toolbar at the top of the SAB-profile website we have added the new button 'Projects' where you can find over 100 attractive projects of all kind already.

Improved geometry for SAB 106R+/750 and maintenance for SAB 70R/800

Starting week 34-2008 up to week 38-2008, SAB-profiel will carry out a major maintenance program at the roll former of the Dutch most popular deep deck profile for warm roofing, the SAB 106R/750. This optimization will result in a stronger and stiffer profile, the SAB 106R+/750. The new load/span table indicates significant improvements due to better profile geometry. 

 

Over the last few years we have successfully renovated a number of roll formers without any production disruptions. Now, at the same time as we will renovate the 106 profiling set, we also take the opportunity to renovate the SAB 70R/800 profiling set. Due to this renovation, it will not be possible to offer and produce the SAB 70R/800 in the period between week 25-2008 and 38-2008.

CE-Marking for SAB cladding profiles and liner trays

For an increasingly number of construction products Eurocodes are being developed and applicable. On the basis of these standards, the construction products industries have to comply with CE-marking. Once a certain Eurocode has been approved by a majority of the EU members, it is mandatory that a construction product manufacturer conforms itself to such a standard and thus to be CE-marked. To be able to reach this marking a number of tests have to be carried out. Test results have to be visible, accompanied by a CE-logo, at either the product or at the packaging.

SAB Project - Music theatre Vredenburg

This time we proudly present the music theatre Vredenburg in Utrecht as the SAB newsletter project. The project has been completed in December 2007 and the first music performances have been held. The building has been built in a few months time, partly on some remaining parts of the Pepsi stage from Amsterdam. The facade has been built with a trapezoidal profile SAB 19/1050 in a striking red colour (SAB 3027). This colour was especially designed for this project. Beside the profile for the wall there are two types of structural liner trays (SAB B90/500 and SAB B145/600), two types of warm roof profiles (SAB 106R/750 and SAB 158R/750) and sandwich panels (SAB W60.1150 LL) applied.

Colorcoat PrismaŽ

After the introduction of Colorcoat Prisma® in autumn 2007 the first projects with this pre-finished steel have already been sold. One of the first projects has been built for Fri-Jo light advertisement in Amsterdam. The project has been erected with the beautiful black metallic colour Kronos® in a trapezoidal profile SAB 45/900. The customer has chosen for Colorcoat Prisma because of the aesthetic appeal, robustness and long durability.
