Extended colour range for plank profiles

For optically flat façades, SAB plank profiles are a much sought after product. Because of the minimal thickness of 0.88 mm, in the past SAB-profiel were only able to offer a limited range of Colorcoat^® PVDF and Colorcoat Prisma^® colours. After thorough quality and product testing, it is now possible to get SAB plank profiles in Colorcoat HPS200^® Ultra in 0.75 mm thickness. This option is only available for PO250 and PZ300 and not for combinations with micro-lines.

SAB Purlins

Purlins play an important part in the construction of roof and wall coverings, and are used when building pitched roofs and façades with sandwich panels and single sheet steel. SAB-profiel, purveyors of purlin products for many years, supply purlins in:

SAB Project - Allemania Aachen

After supplying many Dutch football stadiums, such as Amsterdam Arena, Abe Lenstra Stadium Heerenveen, DSB Stadium Alkmaar and recently Grolsch Veste Enschede, with SAB materials, we are now busy delivering materials to Alemannia Aachen's new Tivoli stadium in Germany. The new SAB 106R+/750 was specifically chosen for this project because of its improved static properties. It is an exceptional project with its striking yellow colour that matches the Alemannia Aachen club colour. The entire roof covering of the stadium will be made of double-sided yellow roof profile SAB 106R+/750 and SAB 89R/915. The stadium will be able to cater for 32,900 spectators and has to be ready by the coming season in August 2009.

CE endorsed sandwich panels

On 16 December 2008, the Official Journal of the European Union published the European product standard for sandwich panels, EN 14509. This finally gives the sandwich panel standard official status within Europe and from January 1^st 2009 onwards, panels can be CE endorsed. From October 1^st 2010 the CE mark will be compulsory for all manufacturers. SAB-profiel has been closely involved in the development of the standard and, thanks to our ISO 9001-2000 certification and the German Zulassungen system, we are well prepared for CE endorsement.
